I’d say in 5 years, I’d like to be finishing up my PhD in Mathematics and be at least in front of a classroom maybe teaching Calc 1 or 2 in college. If I’m still in Albany around that time I’d like to be a big asset in both the C-STEP staff and the STEP roster.
While I will be graduating after this semester, I would like to continue what I do now, talking to and teaching students, either of high school level or college level. I’ve been through the math process and I’ve heard everybody’s annoyance of the field. I want to break it down and make it easier and somehow more relatable. By 5 years’ time I’d like to have built my level of experience in front of the classroom as well as gotten a bit more broad experience here or there.
If not that then I’d hope to either be a private tutor at some point or a webpage designer. Maybe I'll found some internship where I’d be creating web pages for private companies. That includes photos, information, and data molding with possible actions on the website or such.
If all else fails I’ll try my sad attempt at comedy, maybe be a comedian....
