STEM fields are the fields that will fuel the future. For those who don’t know what STEM is it’s an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The medical corridor is a new and exciting place to learn and discover new things about cutting edge medicines and procedures. Technology and Engineering and Math are all fields that are ever evolving and will always be around for there are new things we are learning about each field every day. In high school I took several STEM classes including AP Calc, Chemistry, Biology, and Algebra 2 and Trig; in high school I was very fortunate to have phenomenal teachers to teach such difficult subject material, but I know how frustrating it can be to study these subjects. To students taking STEM classes I would suggest to study a little each day. By studying a little each day it alleviates the problem of cramming for a test. Also if you ever don’t understand something, just ask: odds are someone else probably has the same questions as you—there is no such thing as a stupid question. |
