I have read and have been told that change is only created by crisis, and that it takes for something to shock the minds and hearts of millions in order for change to be enacted.
If I were personally asked, what I would change in this world, it would definitely be the playing field. What I mean by playing field, is the level of assistance or non-assistance that everyone receives worldwide. I would like to make everyone equal, so that everyone can have a fair shot at their piece of the pie.
I personally feel like the only reason that the underprivileged are still considered underprivileged is because they haven’t truly had the opportunity or the fair chance of achieving all they can. They have been burdened with years of poverty and uneducated ancestors, and I would personally like to rid everyone of that burden and provide a clean slate. If this is truly survival of the fittest, then let’s eliminate someone’s ancestors and years of wealth and see how some people will survive without that cushion of support. I believe that those that are willing to achieve will, but if you are faced with such odds since birth, it makes, making your dreams into realities much harder and for some even impossible. I want to give everyone a fair chance, and rid the world of the bias’s and isms that it burdens its people with. With my change, survival of the fittest will truly exist and you would really be able to see those that truly work hard, and those that were only granted the best because they have always had that luxury.
