Change In The World: Gibby Steier

Hello World! The illegal pet trade of exotic animals needs to stop! Most of these animals die faster when they're kept as pets. This unfortunately leads to the endangerment of their species. This angers me because most of these animals are way too cute to die, such as the Slow loris.

The Slow loris is a type of monkey found in Southeast Asia. Criminal organizations intentionally clip off their venomous teeth to protect the future pet owner. This action can cause infections, blood loss, and stress to the Slow loris, and will eventually lead to an early death. This is why the Slow loris is becoming an endangered species.

The Slow loris is just an example of many animals in the illegal pet trade that intentionally get injured to make them "domesticated". This pet trade has to be stopped before some species becomes extinct.
