If I Could Re-Do High School: Tom Courtney

Looking back on my high school years, there isn't a whole lot that I would want to change.  I did well in school, got into the college I wanted, and had (and for that matter still have) a really great group of friends.  However, one thing that I would have done differently is put more commitment into my athletics.  I was a very solid athlete, but I feel that if I had applied myself more outside of practice that I would have been able to elevate myself even more.

The only other thing that I would have wanted to change was to deal less with the drama of everyday high school.  Looking back on it, I realize just how little that it actually mattered (despite how big it seemed at the time).  I sometimes wish that I hadn't let all of that stuff that seemed so big years ago get to me; I would have avoided a lot of hassle and been a lot happier if I had had that foresight.
