If I was on a deserted island I would bring a big notebook, a pen and a big water bottle.
The reason I would bring a notebook and a pen is so that I could write about all the things that I do at this island. And if I do end up dying for some tragic reason , my writings will go down in history. Even though I would be dead, a part of me would still be living through this notebook that I choose to write. Without a pen obviously I wouldn't be able to to write down my story. I would bring the water just so that I could survive a bit longer then I naturally would if I had no water.
