Hello world! I have a lot to say regarding my experiences here despite having attended SUNY Albany for only a semester. I've come to learn a lot of people in the past six months in my classes, clubs, and dorming. Although it was tough at the start, my time here at SUNY Albany has been an enjoyable one.
The first thing I noticed at SUNY Albany was the wonderful community it has. There are plenty of individuals, both students and staff, who are willing to help anyone on a large range of issues. Thanks to these people, I managed to settle in, found an interesting club, got financial aid and academic assistance, and learned how to do my laundry (which is by far the most important skill ever)! Best of all, I would say I changed as a person in that I opened more to others regarding my issues.
Probably the times I value the most are those with my club, The Guild. The Guild is comprised of students who love to play games, and every Wednesday night we play board games. I enjoy the company and conversations I have with the people there because I learn new things about the school. Furthermore, I get to play awesome and thought provoking games while doing so.
All in all, I enjoy the times I had last semester and I look forward to having an equal or better time in the months to come.
