Thoughts on High School STEM Classes: Patonia Guerra

In high school, I did enjoy taking STEM courses. I always loved science and math until I got to college lol. Although I am focusing more on the social sciences aspect of the sciences, I feel as though taking the STEM courses was beneficial. I am well-rounded and prepared for any courses STEM-related courses I may take in college.

While taking STEM courses—or any course for that matter, I advise that students stay focused and do more than just the homework assignments and tests. Do realize that the courses will help you in college and in your career! Make sure that you utilize any resources that are available to you. But, my main point of advice would be to ask for help whenever you need it.
