UAlbany So Far: Christina Knowles

So far, my experience at UAlbany has been great. I love the campus, it is truly beautiful to me. I felt that the people are very welcoming. Being away from home is a huge difference, the main difference is the independence, you have to do mostly everything for yourself and make your own decisions. If you’ve always been responsible it should not be hard. Being away from your parents actually seems addicting, you'll love the independence. It also seems a bit hard to keep the relationships that you had before you were here, but if you are flexible, it should not be too hard to manage this. You’ll always have fun no matter what you’re doing because most your friends are only a walk away and they’re most likely doing nothing just like you. The only thing I regret is not appreciating a home cooked meal when I had it.
